Cool Weather… No Problem!

With cool weather just around the corner, insulate your garage door. Your house and garage are so why not your garage door?

Dixie Door offers a simple way to keep your garage warm (and cool) in the winter with insulation kits for Clopay brand doors. Insulation kits are available for all size Clopay doors and are easily inserted to the back of your existing, non-insulated door. Adding an insulation kit to a non-insulated door raises the “R-Value” or in simple terms – your insulation factor.

Another quick and easy method to keep your garage insulated is by checking your weatherstripping. Make sure it isn’t old (from weather and sun) with holes and gaps or coming off your door. Dixie Door offers various types of weatherstripping and seal for your garage doors in store and online if you need new weatherstripping.

Both insulation kits and weatherstripping will keep your garage warm AND help lower your energy costs.
