So you’re interested in a new garage door opener and you keep seeing all this ‘MyQ Technology’ on labels for the products. You’re asking yourself – what does this mean to me?
Just imagine being on vacation and having the ability to open your garage door for your neighbor so they can water the plants, take the dog out, and check on things. Or imagine being able to check and make sure you closed the garage door after leaving for work or on a business trip. Or imagine having the ability to turn some house lights on when you’re on your way home or away from home. You can do all of this with the Liftmaster MyQ Technology.
Built in revolutionary MyQ technology has the ability to communicate, manage, and active other MyQ enabled devices in the home. This gives you greater control and security – you can open or close the garage door or turn the lights on or off using your smartphone (Android, I-Phone, Blackberry), tablet or computer – from anywhere, any time.
How it Works. The Liftmaster Internet Gateway 828LM works with Liftmaster MyQ openers (models 8550, 8360, 8500, 8557, 8587, and 8355). You connect it to your computer router, register the 828LM with Liftmaster, download the app on your phone on computer and that’s it – you’re opening your garage door.
Quick and Easy Setup
- 1. Connect power and router
